Hello and welcome to our September newsletter! I’m Annie Hehir, the practice manager here at Guildford Chiropractic Centre, and I’m delighted to share some thoughts as we step into autumn—a season that brings the perfect opportunity to refocus on our health and well-being.
Why Autumn is the Perfect Time to Recommit to Your Health Goals
Autumn in the UK is a wonderful time of change. After a summer filled with holidays, social events, and enjoying the outdoors with family and friends, many of us find our usual routines—have taken a bit of a back seat. While those summer activities are great for the soul, they can sometimes steer us away from our health and wellness goals.
Now, as the summer distractions start to wind down, autumn offers a fresh start. It’s a time to gently ease back into routines and refocus on those health intentions we may have set earlier in the year. With a good stretch of time between now and Christmas, it’s the perfect moment to set some achievable goals.
Re-evaluate Your Health Goals
As we move into this new season, it’s worth taking a moment to think about the goals you set earlier in the year. Maybe you wanted to improve your fitness, reduce stress, or manage some nagging pain. Whatever your goals were, autumn is a great time to check in on them. Have you made some progress, or could you use a bit of a reset or a re-think?
